Sustainability

We Love
This Land

Our commitment to the Canterbury landscape is genuine — expressed monthly in native trees planted in its soil.

"We believe that sustainable travel enhances the experience of our guests and helps preserve the natural beauty of our surroundings for future generations."

Trees That Count — Native Tree Supporter

Planting Native Trees
Every Month

Yuki's Chalet makes a monthly contribution to native tree planting at Tārerekautuku Yarrs Lagoon, Canterbury — a wetland restoration project that returns native birds, plants and biodiversity to this remarkable corner of the South Island.

Trees That Count is New Zealand's platform for verified native planting. Every tree planted is tracked, located and contributes to landscape-scale restoration.
